Saturday Feb 9 was the annual Taiwan Night for the kids Taiwanese School held at the Wootten High School in Rockville, MD. This is the schools celebration for Chinese New Year. Each year the ambassador for Taiwan attends and gives a speech to show his support for the school and their efforts to maintain the Taiwan culture here in the Washington DC area. This year the girls were recognized for placing 1st and 2nd place in the speech contest and they also performed a couple of Taiwanese songs for the audience and the ambassidor.
